Measurements before borders: red – 1” x 5”, blue – 2” x 3 ¼”, flower panel – 3 9/16” x 2”.
IÂ’m doing a series of bright colored projects (this is #2) that will be displayed in my studio. Here is #1
-Alcohol inks are used for the red combo and blue backgrounds. I applied one color at a time using the felt and block applicator.
-The yellow and green borders are stamped with Cornish Heritage Farms Abstract.
-The flowers and black background are colored with Prismacolor pencils then heat embossed with clear powder; two coats. This brightens up the color and also gives added strength to the out of the box petals but it is a heavy stock for that panel.
-Piercing is done on the red strip panel.
-In order to keep the flowered panel at an even depth on the card for every layer it lies on top of there is a strip of that paper glued to the underside in place of foam tape, dimensionals etc.
I found the Black Eyed Susan image at Cornish Heritage Farms. and the flourish was found in the 1.99 spot at ArchiverÂ’s.
