I made this quick card last night for a workmate who is having emergency surgery this week. She's been diagnosed with stage 1 endometrial cancer. Her surgeons are very optimistic but we wanted a card to send her off with.
It's the first card I've ever finished in an hour. woohoo
The paper is a Mikes bulk variety . . . I did a bit of distressing of the paler greens and tried to roughen up the edges around the sentiment. First crack at trying that.
I purposely added no color or ribbon as I thought it might be fine the way it was. What do you think? Should/could it do with something more? What would you do?
The stamps are both from Michaels.
Thanks for lookin'

Lovely card. Distressing looks great and I like the contrast between that panel and the flowers down the side. Best wishes for a positive outcome for your friend.

It turned out great Wenchie - love the inky edges along the sentiment and the clean crisp edges by the images. And congrats on being so speedy about it!
