This is my SC161 card using Holidays and Wishes for the sentiment. I was determined to finally use my Pretties Kit after seeing so many elegant cards from "notimetostamp"'s wonderful gallery and Blog. I just love this weeks SC161 also. Thanks Sharon and Roxie for your inspiration. I did make a 5 1/4' X 5 1/4" square card. Elegant cards just seem to cry out for the larger square format...don't you think?
I let the beautiful new "Spring Silhouette" designer paper remain the main focus along with the Pretties flower and hat pin. This card really brightened my day. Our cold, wet and dark days are getting a bit much. But heh.....you do not have to shovel rain! TFL.......

I have to agree with you that the square card is just a beauty - no matter what!!! I use square cards all of the time ( okay, most of the time! ) A very soft and elegant card that you have created - very lovely indeed!! I would have trouble using my paper pretties, so I congragulate you on that - it looks lovely!!!!
It's true that one doesn't have to shovel rain - I live on the * wet coast * here in Vancouver BC - but man, I have to say the dark overcast gets to a person!!!! Good thing we can make spring cards and the like and go on vacation with our cards

Nancy . . . this is exquisite!!! So soft and gentle looking with that gorgeous paper, ribbon, stickpin and flower. I don't do many square cards but I would have to agree that this would have lost something if you had used the average size card format. This took my breath away as soon as the photo came up on the screen . . . WONDERFUL job!

Oh my gosh, Nancy, this is stunning!!! A true beauty!!! I LOVE that DP and haven't seen it yet, but you can be sure it is NOW on my list!!! Your hat pin looks wonderful -- I have used CE like you did, but I often just take a mini glue dot, or maybe 2, and wrap it around the pin under the last bead. It usually doesn't show as that part is usually under the flower!!! Your flower is gorgeous!!! What a wonderful card!!!
