I spent the better part of the past week making this one. The baby is a boy, but I was hard pressed to used the traditional blues. I settled for warm earthy colors instead. Unfortunately I do not recall the paper color names.
For the lid, I made a shallow shadow box using acetate and popped up the detail (name, weight, etc) information and wrapped a fine chocolate ribbon around the foam riser to hide the harsh white.
The flowers were done using EK floral punches and I used my corner rounder to make a scalloped trim for the lid. I also added stickles to the flowers and scallops. The ribbon, although it's not really visible in the picture, is a beautiful coppery sheen. It catches the light beautifully.
I did a cut count on this project and it's approx 140 pieces. That took a while! LOL
All in all, I'm quite pleased with the end result.
Thanks for lookin'
