I got the idea for this from Stamper's Showcase. The card on there was alot like this but it never said how it was done. I pretty much did the Poppin' Pastels technique except I used Craft ink and Q-tips - I really liked how it turned out so I know I'll be doing a bunch of these!

Could you give us more details? I have never been able to get vivid colors like that on black paper! Gorgeous!!!!

Ya, I just stamped the base of the butterfly with the White Craft Pad on the black paper. I let it sit for a couple of minutes then I rubbed diff. pastel colors here and there on them with a Q-tip. I blended them a bit then stamped the outline again w/ the white. It's really easy to do! I was surprised myself at how bright the colors turned out - but it's b/c of the craft ink, if you used VersaMark It wouldn't turn out like this.
