This card made me squeal with delight when it was done. Yep...I'm patting myself on the back. LOL! I wanted to make a special card for my boss and his wife. They're such special people and always go above and beyond.
My card base is Always Artichoke. The Drive in the Country dp is layered on Rose Red cs. I stamped the French Script background stamp (retired-SU!) onto the dp with Always Artichoke ink. I stamped off once onto scrap paper before stamping onto the dp because I didn't want the stamping to overpower the paper.
I stamped the rose onto watercolor paper with Jet Black StazOn. The roses are colored with Rose Red and Regal Rose SU markers. The leaves are done with Always Artichoke, Old Olive and Close to Cocoa markers. The stem is done with Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip markers. I blended the markers with my Aquapainter. I added the shadow with a grey watercolor pencil and Aquapainter. I used my Slot Punch on this panel and wrapped some pretty May Arts ribbon around everything and adhered it to the card base. I stamped one of the sentiments from the Happy Harmony set onto watercolor paper with Always Artichoke, punched it out with my 1 1/4" circle punch and layered it onto a 1 3/8" circle of Always Artichoke. It's adhered to the card with a Dimensional.
I hope you like my card. TFL - Regina
