For this week's Ways to Use It challenge (WT150). The challenge is to use real paint, I used acrylics on the bottom section of the card and on the mat the flower is sitting on.
For the bottom section I used acetate and painted random shapes in Baby Pink and Fire Red (I added a little bit of black to darken the red). Once the paint was dry I flipped it over and used the smaller flourish from the Priceless set to stamp on the front of the acetate. I love doing this techniqe on acetate. It looks great if you write or stamp or pretty much anything you like to the front of it.
For the mat the flower is sitting on, I used a foam brush and edged the sides with red paint and then dotted all the way around with a pink galaxy marker.
The tag is from Hodgepodge Hardware and I just cut one of the loops on the side so it would hang as shown.
