This is for someone who is needing a lift. My challenge was to case someone I know using their style and adding texture. Because this person is blind, the texture was very important to add and I felt more than one thing should be "felt." I cased Billie (myboys) who's style I noticed utilized scallops, flowers and rectangles/squares off center for a unique look. (Sorry Billie if I am wrong!LOL) I chose to case this card: Monochromatic Garden by myboys at Splitcoaststampers
I changed a few things to include some of her other styles as well as those extra textures I mentioned. First, the color. I hadn't used my plums in what seems like forever so this was a good card to do it. Second, I don't own nestabilities, so forgive my scalloped edges using my scallop scissors. Third, I chose to use the swirl CB embossing folder. Fourth, I used some velvet ribbon. And fifth, I chose to use a Prima flower with a pearl center (ironically from Billie! Thanks!) for even more texture. Oh! And I embossed the sentiment. (more texture.. you get the picture...)
I hope I did your card justice Billie!! I love what you did... TFL!!

Very pretty! I love the colors you used. And with all of the texture, I'd love to get my hands on it! LOL! Great job. Your friend will enjoy that 'pick-me-up.'

Great card, I too send to a blind friend and find that sometimes I'm challenged to come up with different things to make the card more touchable. You did a great job and it looks so good. I know that your friend will love it.

How sweet, you did an excellent job. I have to say I wondered what on would say about my style. I feel like I am all over the place, sorry! But its neat to see your perspective. Your card is beautiful. I love it and so will she.
