so ... is this a new thing? Are they to be used later? My mom bought me some cool looking lavendar/collage/store-bought/flat-printed file folders about 2 yrs ago & I commented then that it would be cool to make stamped file folders as a gift set. Has anyone done this? I would think that maybe the altered files aren't quite what I mean because stuff would get pulled off, pulling them in & out of a file cabinet. I was thinking more of just pretty, make you smile when you use them, kind of folders. But, tell me about yours, Indigo. I love pretty & useful. Thaks, Juddaca

Juddaca,
I'm thinking along the same lines as you are ... there can't be too much bulk on the cover, or on the inside, or you won't be able to really utilize them. This folder is for a swap I'm in, the goal is for them to be useful - altered in the sense that something has been done to embellish them. so maybe we should just call them "decorated" or embellished folders? I'm thinking my swap partner can put cards and other misc. things inside the folder - the inside is still smooth, just covered with colored cardstock.
