This card started out as something completely different, as do many of the cards that I make, but my way of creating is more of a "create-as-you-go" method. It's not always efficient, but I haven't learned to do it another way yet that feels right, so until I find something else that works better, it's my method. This card was going to be browns and blues, but after I embossed my Chocolate Chip craft ink, it looked so black that I went in a whole different direction. Does that ever happen to you? Isn't that the way it is with life as well? You start out in one direction, but things happen you don't expect that take you on a whole other path. My life is nothing like I thought it would be when I was in my early 20's, but I have to say that I wouldn't want it ANY other way.

Oh, I so get your writeup - both in life and in stamping!!! I do the challenges - but they are a challenge as like you - I tend to go where the stamp takes me!!! Lovely card! Striking image!

This card is breathtakingly beautiful! I love the stamped image. It is so beautiful. This is a great sketch! I love your little blurb -it is so true, life often takes us on paths we never imagined, but that's what makes it so interesting, and we just need to stay flexible, and go where the Lord leads us!
