This is the first page of a scrapbook of my mother that passed away when I was a year old.
After she passed, circumstances took me away from her family. Recently I was blessed and we were brought back together again. Along with all the great stories of her I was also given a lot of photos. IÂ’m making this book in her memory for my daughter.
Because of the emotions that making this bring out, I can only do a few pages at a time. I did these pages a couple months ago – I hope to do more soon.
The text reads:
This book is made with love of my mother, for my daughter. If Marilyn cannot be alive with us please let her continue to live in us.

This will be a wonderful gift to your daughter. I never knew either of my Grandmothers, and I certainly wish I would have had a book like this to try to know them at least a bit.

thank you for sharing this, I viewed your gallery and you have some wonderful scrapbook pages. My Mother passed and I realized I need to make a book of her as well. But I keep procrastinting. Seeing your pages have inspired me and reminded me, to just keep it simple. for now at least. thank you so much, and god bless you.
