This technique is done by building layers of Zia’s spray wash watercolor sprays with whatever you think would make a good outline. You want to make sure you use 140lb watercolor paper because of all the spraying you’ll be doing. In-between each lay you’ll want to dry your paper with your heat gun so not to muddy the colors. What I like about doing this is it’s like playing when we were kids –
The only stamping that was done on this is the butterflies which was stamped first – then build the color by placing items on the page that you think would make a good outline when you spray the wash over it – dry with heat gun and then put down more objects and spray again – then use bleach on the butterfly to make it pop off the page.
