For the hat challenge, I immediately thought of the Event Full set. When I opened the box, I saw there's actually two hat stamps in there! I hesitated, then stuck to my first idea and used the magician hat.
The rhinestones are actually already placed on a glue line, all in a row, so it didn't take long to add some bling to the border. Doesn't it look like the lights that are placed alongside a runway? Looks pretty cool!
The card was designed around sketch 135. I glued a red scalloped edge on each side of the patterned paper banner, then added some yellow rickrack on each side.
The image was colored with markers and then I blended the colors with an Aquapainter and added a bit of sparkly gel pen on the stars and swirls. I punched some circles out of the patterned paper and used two Build-a-Brads for each corner. Added a corner made with squre punches on top (decorated with piercing and white brads), some Primas, and a punched star in the other corner.
Accessories: Brads, square punches, paper piercer, rhinestones, Build-a-Brad, circle punch, markers, sparkly gel pen, Prima flowers, Coluzzle oval template, Big Star punch, rickrack, scalloped scisors
