Here's my card for the VSN Polished Stone challenge. I had a few false starts on this one...an hydrangea stamp that kept ghosting....
So, I went with my reject piece of polished stone that had too much pomegranate on it. I didn't use metallic re-inker because I don't have the right sealer and I didn't want a matte finish on the final piece.
It turns out, all this bit of stone needed was the right stamp and the right backdrop and it looked much better. This just might be a good valentine for my DH, since it's not too girly.
The pomegranate strip is stamped with versamark and embellished with red-blue duo pearl ex. The background is just stamped with versamark. Both stamps are from my circle cube from Sunshine Designs (www.sunshinedesigns.ca), which I won as a prize :-)
