I needed to make my good friend, Becky's husband a get well card today as he had surgery this week. When I looked at the inspiration challenge and saw the words, Flower packet, I thought this is not going to work for his card. I was happy to see the colors on it because it was perfect for a masculine card. I need to make another card for Becky, a sympathy card. We all know what it is like to have a sick man at home. Maybe that card will be next. Thanks to Pat Smethers for this awesome image.

I am glad I read your description Shirley. Thought you lost it there for a minute, LOL! You are right, the colors were perfect for a masculine card and that is the direction I took as well. Love all the layering and distressing. Don't you just love it when they lay on the couch and whine about not feeling well? Men!

I'm sure your well wishes -- as well as your card -- will have him up and around in no time. Okay, I'm going to show my age here -- the inspiration was a 'flower packet' -- you could pretend that the car is a Packard!
