Sometimes taking a moment to look at your supplies will help inspire something different! Here I stamped my images in Charcoal ink, leaving one spot empty. I then swiped a bit of pink acrylic craft paint onto the empty spot and then I stamped one image in color. To get a multi tonal image using my chalk inks, I inked the entire image in Dark Moss then used a moist Qtip to remove the ink from the blossoms. Then I used a dry Qtip and dabbed it in my Warm Red Chalk ink and dabbed it onto the little flowers. I think the resulting image is just what I was going for!!! And the splash of pink paint behind it just added to the HIGHLIGHT effect!
Trend Alert: "They" say Shimmer and Sheer is in! So here I have tried to capture BOTH!
First I stamped onto Irridescent Gold Metallic Paper (shimmer) then I embossed Pink Vellum (Sheer). Also for added shimmer, once I had my brads in place I colored the tops with my Quickie Glue Pen and then sprinkled them with ultrafine glitter! How fun!!!
