Here's a fun card I made for a friend who's turning 58. Minnesota is celebrating it's Sesquicentennial (150 years) this year, so the caption reads "Party Like It's 1858"). Lower right on the card in stickers says "Or...", inside says "Party Like You're 58".
The American Gothic stamp (2 people) is by The Museum Shop. I used colored pencils for a faded photograph look, altho back then it would have been a black & white photo. The paper is from a pack of Joann's brand and the scrollworks stamp (in gold EP) is Inkadinkadoo. I PC-printed the caption on a plastic sheet and stamped a thought balloon around it with Stazon.

(Thanks for the welcome) I went into your gallery and found this card. LOVE the idea. I'm thinking to use it with the recipients birth year (to relate to the "yowling" celebration at birth). hahaha Thanks for the inspiration!
