Well, thank you Rox and Kristi for the great Sketch challenge! I really enjoy this one!
I was very influenced by Rox's card this week. Here's the link:ttp:Little Ricky by Rox71 at Splitcoaststampers
I also combined it with last week's challenge to use leather on a card. Thanks for that challenge, Julia! The x, the heart, and the two pieces coming from the circle are leather lacing I've had for ages. I used a glue gun to adhere them to the paper. The card base is a beige leather look cardstock as well. Easier to see the leather texture irl.
I made an attempt to channel Faith's (Markie's Mom) signature style of dots all around, but I think I'll have to try again, as they are very hard to see. I must use gel pens next time I think.
Watercolored the images with Tombow pens and water on a wc brush. Images stamped on wc paper with Stazon Jet Black Ink.
Hearts, frog in a pocket, Froggie Gift and saying all from High Hopes Stamps. Papers by Basic Grey.
TFL!
