I was inspired by badsherry's card WT148 Maiden by BadSherry at Splitcoaststampers for this week's WT148 challenge so I went and dug out my neglected rubbernecker stamp and tried a new technique for my card for the challenge - faux leather. After putting the masking tape down, I rubber Tim Holtz walnut stain distress ink over it and let it dry before rubbing off the excess. Stamped the maiden in pallet burnt umber ink and colored with markers including my CTMH white/vanilla markers. Colored her hair with a black marker and a blender pen to give a different look. Rolled the drybrush wheel over the card, then added the rest and topped everything off with twine and a hoarded "rock" charm I've had to a couple of years.

That is just stunning!! I love the image and what you did with it, too cool! Does your white/vanilla marker go over darker card stock and lighten it? tfs
