In the midst of working on the Amy Butler challenge, I "Beated" my way to the WT148! I read on Beate's blog about bruising the side of the paper to make it look like faux leather so I decided to try my fabulous luggage case. Amazing, it worked just as she had said, and after rubbing Tim Holtz distress ink all over, I was pleased with the results. It even has scratches and cuts like the real thing. Back to the IC challenge, I had in mind to work with a handbag and flowers...now I had a double. The BG was stamped with an Impress distressed floral, the peony is theirs as well. The wonderful luggage case is by Carmen's Veranda which I stamped in Versacolor and embossed in clear. I used an um sentiment from Purple Onion. All the brown tones were TH brushed corduroy distress inks. TH tattered rose was used on the BG and the peony. Let me know what you think of my faux leather. Thanks for your comments
