For this challenge of using only two colors from one color family, I chose black and white. I mean, when you first start to stamp, what is the first color you buy? BLACK! (At least for me that is...) Chalk and black were my firsts, so I am giving the color a tribute. I was inspired by Nichole Heady's sketch and design of cutting up the mat you will stamp on and edging it with ink. Here, I used watercolor paper and black ink. I used my stamp from Impress of a cherry blossom branch and then watercolored the flower and branches. I then added ribbon, liquid pearls and stickles to the center of the flowers, and the sentiment which is on dimensionals. TFL!!!

I saw this on her blog yesterday and tried it out IMMEDIATELY! I even uploaded mine right after...lol. Beautiful! The black and white make it so elegant.
