I was browsing through SophieLaFontaine's gallery ( SophieLaFontaine's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers ) yesterday and enjoying her many watercolor cards, when I decided I would try one myself. I picked up some of the 140-lb. cold-pressed watercolor paper she uses and gave it a go. I am fairly happy with the results, though I cheated and used ribbon as a border.
I can't figure out how to use distress pads to get a subtle look; I have a Ranger Tea distress pad, but it looks too dark when I rub it on my paper. I wound up using a couple of lighter Colorsnap pigment pads to get a distressed look.
This card is just for fun - thanks for looking!
