Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Wild Wasabi, Barely Banana, and Blue Bayou and today's Stalker/Chaser Everyday events challenge:Make a card for someone who made an inpact on your life. I made this for my Grandmother, the brassest, most self assured, giving person on the planet. (And, she embodies the saying, "Embrace Life.")
I remembered that I had 1 package left of SU!'s retired Porcelain Prints. What luck! It had Wild Wasabi and Blue Bayou!
Since Markie was sick yesterday/tonight, I haven't been able to clean my stamp table, so, as per my self imposed rule, I had to use the stamp sets on the table! LOL! (Hence, Embrace Life!)
I stamped the floral images in Basic Black. The flowers are colored in with a Barely Banana marker and 2 blender pens that I turned into Wild Wasabi and Blue Bayou markers. I added the dots around the ovals and Barely Banana border with a SU! Basic Black journaling marker.
I used a Signo pen for the stamens and the extra dots around the flourish border.

Lovely, as always! Love the flourishes, your coloring... and just how did you tie such a perfect bow??? I can never get my ends to lay where I want them! Anyways, hope your son is feeling better today (so Mom can have more time to stamp!).
