I love the Cracked Glass technique, so I was happy with today's Tech. Lover's Challenge- to take a stroll down Memory Lane and pick an old challenge to repeat. This is from TLC14, Cracked Glass.
The stamp is Dance of the Butterflies, by Paper Inspirations. I stamped the image on Naturals Ivory CS in Basic Brown, and colored it with Prisma Pencils. I stamped a second image and colored and cut out just the blue and green butterfly. The base image was covered with 3 layers of Utee and cracked; the popped up butterfly I covered in about 8 layers of Utee to give it more stability and strength. I layered the pin onto a piece of cardboard for strength, gave the lady a ruby red Swarovski crystal at the corner of her lip, and 2 very tiny clear crystals for the butterfly's eyes.
Thanks for looking!

Oh my goodness, I can't even begin to tell you how fabulous this is! When it caught my eye, all I could see was the popped butterfly and then I saw the gold one and all of a sudden I was looking into the eyes of the woman. Stunning!!!! I will save this for a case...love the stained glass effect of the wings on the blue/green.
