I got such a kick out of watching my little granddaughter play with the hose in our backyard one hot summer day (and I mean HOT—we live in Arizona!) I suppose we weren’t very conservation friendly, but the wading pool we had out for her and her sister just didn’t do the trick!
I used Sketch Challenge #47 for my basic layout. I also used techniques from a few other challenges:
-Sanded photo edges (Meridith Ethington-SBDD05)
-Use hoarded embellishments (buttons, ribbons) (Suzy Haghighi-SBDD06)
-Use stamps for embellishment & some distressing(flowers) (Michele Giraurd-SBDD06)
-Use stamps to make a title (Annie Hafferman-SBDD07)
I used a bowl to make my half circle and added an extra strip of coordinated dp to extend it on the right. I sized the photos for the circle pics with a photo-editing program and printed all photos on my printer. I used at least 5 sets of alphabets for the title and outlined the green letters with a brown marker. The coral-stamped flowers are distressed with old olive craft ink, computer journaling rectangle ink distressed with coral.
