Okay, my real inspiration from today's challenge was to take a trip to Pottery Barn to buy some cool stuff for my entryway. See IC piece here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I settled for "Plan B" which was to make a bookmark for a birthday gift. I'll purchase the book later . . . is the bookstore near a Pottery Barn?
I concentrated on the left side of the inspiration picture, using yellows, oranges and the deep greens of the foilage. I used some aida BG on the bookmark to give it some "weave" texture (baskets) and went with a "book" theme. Added the 4 brads to pick up the hardware in the pic. Sure wish I could go to Pottery Barn today . . .
Pay no attention to that wrinkle in the DP. I shmooched it down and it looks fine now!!!

I love the idea of incorporating a little gift into the card, I have not been able to do it yet so I am extremely impressed with those that can! This is such a wonderful card, Christine!
