After my first giraffe card, I wanted to take it to the next level...Improve upon the last one. Here he is! I really like the way this card turned out. The colors are fairly neutral. The striped patterned paper has pink stripes in it, and only one of them shows on this card. It would have been better if there was another one on the other side, but this works out fine too. I just adore this giraffe!
I stamped the cardbase with Simple Shapes in a darker yellow chalk ink, layered Miss Elizabeth PP inked with a light blue around the edges, then light blue CS edged with blue chalk ink, then Aqua CS that was stamped with Hot to Dot in Green Galore, then the image piece. He was stamped in brown, colored with chalk, and edged in the same dark yellow and as the BG.
The baby tag was stamped with Noteworthy in brown and matted with the aqua. I finished it off with inking the edges of the card
