When I am with my friends I always want to embrace life, live in the moment, and savor each experience...to perhaps even make a memory or two. It is with these special relationships with friends that inspired me to make this card.
I was looking for a color combination that I don't usually select, so I went to an on-line color wheel and keyed in River Rock, and this combination was the one I chose. I used a piece of patterned paper from the SU! Apple Cider designer paper for my first mat, then using a scrap piece of River Rock, I stamped the images randomly using Versamark then heat embossed with Seafoam White embossing powder for the middle mat. For the focal image I stamped the larger flower (is that really a flower, or should I be calling it a medallion?) using River Rock and cut out the image, then stamping the center using Purely Pomegranate and punched it with my 1 1/4" circle punch.
I wanted to secure my ribbon, but didn't want a big knot that I would get using the double stitched ribbon, so I just crossed the ribbon and secured it with a circle rhinestone brad. I think it will probably mail easier anyway.
