Vintage Violet is one of my favorite SU colors... I stocked up on the CS, ink and ribbon before they retired, and save ALL of my scraps. I just hope it's a very long time before I run out!! I really love pairing V. Violet with Old Olive and Certainly Celery, and was lucky enough to find some DP online that has all of these colors in it! Now, I just need to order a ton of this DP, and I'll be set! I was on a bit of a Fab. Flowers kick this weekend....heck, just a flowers kick all-around! Guess it was just the break I needed from Christmas creations. The flower is made up of 4 layers, each separated by dimensionals, and all 4 layers were embossed with clear EP before cutting them out. Doing this seems to make the color 'pop' a bit more, as well as making them a bit easier to cut out. Hope you like it--thanks for looking! Have a great day, everyone!

Oh my, this is just lovely in so many different ways. I agree... I love those three colors together. And I love the multiple matting you've done too, just gives the card a bit of glamour. This is fantastic and is going straight into my favs!!! Thanks for sharing it!

VERY pretty! My VV never looked this purple (more like black). I love the ribbon bow - can you discribe how you made it? Over all this is one of the prettiest cards I have seen here on SCS!!!

WOWza! I, too, would like to know how you did the ribbon. I would also like to know how you get these into an envelope (or would that be a BOX?), and how much it costs to mail them. ;-) Or do you plan to just have them framed?
