This wrapping paper was so cute, I made a card with it!
I glued the wrapping paper to cardstock (with lots and lots of burnishing!), and then trimmed those down to size.
I put the glue on the cardstock (NOT on the thin, fragile wrapping paper) and then laid wrapping paper over it. After burnishing thoroughly, I cut the covered cardstock down to size. This is also a neat way to use up small bits of cardstock that won't match anything else.
This is the only kind of "dp" (decorative paper) that I can bring myself to use!
I mixed some watercolours (alizaron crimson and burnt umber) to match the burgundy shade in the paper, and then I used that on a calligraphy tip to write the sentiment on the tag.
This was really cheap, thin wrapping paper, so it was easy for me to distress the edges, especially on the tag, so the cream edge provides a little contrast against the burgundy background.
Um...after all this, I noticed that the snowflakes have EIGHT points on them! (edited note: snowflakes are supposed to have only six points) Grrr.

Wonderful card. What is dp? Can't seem to find that anywhere...except when used as DTP. Is that the same? Also...what the deal with 8 pointed snowflakes? Just wondering. Love the card.
