For the Featured Stamper Challenge, FS46: Who's #1. I've admired Crissy's work forever, and couldn't resist playing along. This is the card of Crissy's that I picked, A man's heart. I changed everything but the colors, which are what drew me to the card.
The background was made by sponging on Tim Holtz Distress Inks with sponge daubers and alcohol ink felt pads soaked in Alcohol Blending Solution. Once the desired background was achieved, the Travel Background was stamped in Black Soot Distress Ink, and the edges sponged. The main image was colored with Copic markers and then sponged with the same technique as the background. To get closer to the main image, a Cut-N-Dry nib was used with the Alcohol Blending Solution and picking up some color from the stamp pad. The edges of the main image were then sponged with Black Soot Distress Ink.

Thanks for playing and for CASEing my card, Sherry! I have been YOUR fan forever! This looks fantastic. Your background turned out great and sets the tone for the whole card. The main stamp goes so well with those colors and your technique. I love all your details, like the brads and ribbon. Fantastic card, as usual for you!
