Well, I'm finally done with my Christmas cards and have decided to alter more gift bags. These are a hoot to make!
I've got these wonderful chipboard shapes by Making Memories and this JOY one fits so well with this large bag. I just traced it onto the back of the Rubber Soul dp, cut it out and glued it with Mod Podge. When dry, I sanded the edges and put on a thin layer of Mod Podge to seal it. I added a snippet of white with red stitching ribbon on the Y and mounted it to the bag with Sticky Strip.
I created my tag by randomly coloring the letters on my Merry Christmas stamp, huffing to remoisten and stamped. I added a couple of pretty green gemstones, layered it on Glorious Green and Gable Green cs and adhered it to the chipboard. Here's a close up look. J close-up by ReginaBD at Splitcoaststampers
I felt it needed a little something more, so I dotted a frame around JOY with the sharp point of my Glorious Green marker and added some Real Red grosgrain and sheer organdy ribbons on the handle.
There you have it! I hope you like it. TFL - Regina
