I loved the variety of colors and how they played on each other. I wanted to use a SU set that I haven't played with in a while, so 2002 Flowers and Friends was the choice for today. I used the masking technique to build my flower arrangement. I trimmed the cardstock down to get alittle of the image "out of the box", then daubered in Apricot Appeal ink around the edges. I matted and tied ribbon around, then adhered it to the cardbase. I punched "hello" and "friend" from In the Spotlight with 1/2inch circle punch and popped it off the flowers. I stamped the butterfly twice and glued them together after trimming, then popped this off the flowers, too. I touched the centers of the apricot flowers with a stardust pen to give alittle glitz.
Karen, thank you so much for posting this colorful challenge. It was fun to use an old stamp set again.
Thanks for looking, everyone!
