OK, OK, I know, every week I say the same thing. I dont know how I started at (fill in the blank) and ended up at this!! This week it was a gorgeous set of dishes that we had to be inspired by. I am by nature not a bold person, so the colors kind of scared me. I tried I really did!! I started out with this bright paper with bright greens and purples and teals!! I had some lime green ribbon, these fabulous buttons, a teal striped paper, and somehow, someway, this is where I went with it. Not bright, not bold, not anything like those plates!! In my defense, I have a screaming headache, I went to Playhouse Disney Live with my sisters 3 kids and their cousin. I think I just needed some calm after the storm...................
Thanks for reading my novel, and have a lovely day!!

Cards often go their own way - but that is what inspiration is for - not to necessarily copy completely but to get inspired! You have the gold brads like the edges of the plate - and a lovely flower like those on the plates and many beautiful colors from the inspiration!
Love your direct to paper inking behind the flower and the great sentiment in the hardware - lovely card! Hope your headache is better~!~
