Next to making cards, I just love to alter kraft gift bags...especially wine bags. I think it's due to their tall, rectangular size. I've taken a lot of orders for these, but I'm having a hard time parting with them because they're so darn pretty. LOL!
I started out by layering some Glacier dp on Chocolate Chip cs. I snipped the corners of the dp with my Fiskars Corner Edgers and sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip ink. Next I grabbed the cool chipboard ornament by BasicGrey and matched it up with the corresponding sticker. I smeared the ornament with VersaMark ink and embossed it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. I then added the gems with Aleene's Paper Glaze. Oh, so sparkly! I added piece of Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, peeled the backing off the ornament and adhered it to the dp. (Care to see a close-up of the ornament? On the white side of Balsam dp, I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment with Chocolate Chip Craft Ink and clear embossed it. I added a couple of gems to it and layered it on Cool Caribbean and Chocolate Chip.
For the tag, I traced the tag shape onto Silent Night dp, cut it out, stamped the sentiment with Chocolate Chip Craft Ink and clear embossed it, too. I punched a hole at the top and added a Cool Caribbean eyelet.
Finally, I added Chocolate Chip grosgrain and Tempting Turquoise grosgrain (hey...it's a pretty close match to Cool Caribbean cs) on the handles and threaded on my tag.
So, what do you think? TFL - Regina
