This is the card for the Color Challenge 144: Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, and Certainly Celery.
Emily gave this to us to let us have a break from Christmas colors. My thought? Christmas cards can be whatever colors you want them to be.
Personally, I'm in the writing inside/sending out phase of Christmas cards, but there's something about this time of year that makes me want to make CHRISTMAS CARDS - so I have a dozen loose ones just hanging about.
I also got my new MFT stamps last night in the mail. Out comes Baby, It's Cold Outside. I think the image is absolutely adorable.
The main image is stamped in Versafine black on watercolor paper. It's colored in with SU markers and blender pen (to pick up excess color.) The main image is popped up on dimensionals and layered on Rose Red and Pumpkin Pie cs.
The card base is Certainly Celery and I used pieces of Pumpkin Pie and Rose Red Prints DP for a background.
The sentiment is also from Baby It's Cold Outside. Stamped in Certainly Celery on watercolor paper and punched with the word window punch.
