I made this frame as a Christmas gift for my 14-yr-old niece whose room is getting a makeover in brown, pinks & orange. The photo is one of her when she was 8. I also her made her a clothespin clip to match (see other photo: Cade's Altered Giant Clothespin - wsb by wendella247 at Splitcoaststampers. As you can see, I used a lot of different elements, starting with an 8x8 wood $1 frame from MichaelÂ’s.
I painted the frame pink, traced the frame shape onto dp and cut it out, applying the paper to frame with Mod Podge.
Other elements:
-Primas, with added epoxy center from MikeÂ’s $1 bin.
-DP-covered letter *C* from JoAnn chipboard, coated with AleeneÂ’s Paper Glaze, raised on dimensionals
-Chipboard buckle painted and distressed, added pink Heidi Swapp rhinestones, epoxy word, stickles, bling flower.
-Two ribbons attached & applied using sticky strip.
-Cardstock & dp *bands* on right and left: ink and tool-distressed edges, flower eyelets, Karen Foster pewter charm painted with brown, then touched up with pink paint & stickles, tied thru eyelet with pink embroidery floss.
-Several stamps (see below).
Thanks for looking!
