The idea for these cute bookmarks was found in TexasGrammy's gallery. Thanks again, Bev!
I've had some questions on how to make the medallions for my Magnet Bookmarks:
Medallions were made from 2 inch squares, which had their corners punched with either the Bubbles, Wrought Iron or Square Steps corner punches and then the corners were folded in to create the medallion shape. (See the photo for a square punched and a square folded - also, a bookmark open to show the magnet snap.)
Used glue dots to secure ribbon between the layers on each medallion end.
Attached Basic Grey magnetic snaps to the back of each medallion. These magnet snap closures are awesome - they come + and - , are self adhesive and are almost as thin as SU card stock!
The magnet bookmark ends hold the page with the ribbon showing above the page to mark the spot!! Close up photos can be seen Here and Here
These are so much fun to make and are a great 'little gift' idea! ... TFL

These are sooo cute! I really like the use of the different corner punches to make the medallions. Great little gifties for all the bookworms in our lives.
