This card was made for today's color challenge: Old Olive, Summer Sun and Certainly Celery. I created my own stripes with scrap pieces of cardstock that I adhered to a piece of paper that I had run through my Zyron. This is a great way to use up some of those little piece that get left over from trimming your cardstock to size. (Hello, my name is Kathy. I am a hoarder.) The greeting was stamped in Old Olive ink and the other images were all stamped with Basic Brown ink. The flowers were a little bright after I colored them with the markers, so I used a white colored pencil to soften them just a bit.

Lovely card! How clever to make your own striped paper. So maybe I need a Xyron now, huh? (I can justify this purchase because it will help me use up my massive stash of paper! LOL!) Thanks for the fabulous idea!
