I picked up a couple wood purse gift bags at Michael's the other day thinking that they'd be really cute all dressed up with pretty dp. Well, I think I was right. LOL! A co-worker of mine is going to give this one to her 3 1/2 year old granddaughter for Christmas with some treats inside. It measures 5 3/4" x 4 1/4" x 1 7/8".
All four sides are covered with dp from BasicGrey's Mellow collection. This side is covered with Settle Down dp. I just traced the box into the back of the dp, cut it out and adhered it to the box with Mod Podge. (Oh yeah, before adhering the dp, I painted the inside and outside of the box with Acrylic Paint.) The dp edges were all sanded, too, and sealed with a layer of Mod Podge. The 100% Girl sentiment is a rub-on done on Sapid dp and punched out with my Scallop Punch. I added a couple of Prima flowers and bling in one corner and some grosgrain ribbon to the handles.
The two short sides, which I didn't photograph, were just covered with Sapid dp.
