When I got home this afternoon, I checked the Inspiration Challenge and thought.....HEY!! I have a huge mitten by The Rubbernecker Stamp Company that would be perfect for this. I have to admit....I'm not happy with the coloring...my DD was like...*mom, they're orange*!! I say, they're well loved. They used to be a soft yellow, but have been through the rough midwest winters, and are now kept in a hope chest to keep the cozy memories alive. Unfortunately the hope chest is not cedar lined, so they have not aged gracefully. I hope you understand. All the stamps can be found at the Rubbernecker website found at www.rubbernecker.com.
Anyway....the true time bg is the small pine bough, and the mittens are colored with adirondack reinkers. Don't let my poor coloring sway you away from these inks.....cause they're awesome for watercoloring. I just chose a poor color combo. And since it's already 5:30 pm, I wasn't going to start over. Oh, and I got the reverse mitten by stamping onto acetate first, then transfering it to watercolor paper. tfl

This is gorgeous Tosh. Don't listen to your DD. I don't listen to mine, but she doesn't listen to me either. Oh well, I love your well worn mittens and your whole card!
