The challenge photo we played from is located in this link.
I played from the mittens image, colors of red, white and darkened my blue and pulled from the paper some snowflakes, hearts and the bit of plaid on some of the mittens.
-The front is cut off ¾” from the edge.
-Image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and Mona Lisa mineral spirits. It was also lightly stamped with Linen in Going Gray.
-Ink distressing is done on all layers: Pine green on the plaid and mittens panel and Vintage Photo on the red and navy.
-A square punch was used for the plaid paperÂ’s corners; I measured and marked the same distance from each edge and then lined up the punch.
-The Cuttlebug was used to emboss the snowflakes and they are only embossed the width of the cut off area. I measure and position the card and use blue painters tape to hold the cardstock to the folder.
-Brilliance white ink was used to rub over the embossing to add color. It has to be done with a light to no pressure so it doesnÂ’t get on the un-embossed area.
