This another quick one for notimetostamp's fun challenge found here: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
I am making a set of monogrammed cards for each of my kids teachers this year for Christmas and needed to keep them simple and easy to mass produce, and this worked perfect for Sharon's challenge! I got this lovely green cardstock and green and gold dp both made by Paper Bouquet from Big Lots a few weeks ago. These are very quick and easy to make and I like how they came out. The scalloped oval is popped up! I do have a duh question though, it is the first initial of the person's LAST name that is monogrammed, right????? Please let me know!
Thanks for looking

I think you are right about the last name, Dawn. This is really simple elegance. The ribbon looks like it was made for this paper and the monogram piece is so pretty. You have inspired me. I need to make a couple sets of notecards for co-workers at school. What a perfect pattern to follow. TFS

Ha, Ha!!! Good question, because I had the same one - LOL!!! Glad JoAnn clarified it for us!!! Also, I never heard of Paper Bouquet before, but last week someone gave me this same paper in blue -- it is SO GORGEOUS!!!! And what you have done with yours is amazingly beautiful!!! I love monograms and was considering that for one of my challenges in the future -- I, too, have wanted to do monogrammed gift sets for a while now, just never got to it. This is a fabulous card and a wonderful gift idea -- thanks so much for sharing.

This is lovely, and I (as a teacher) would much rather get this as a gift instead of the tons of mugs and ornaments we get (sorry for sounding ungrateful...I'm not, but my tree is small and so are my cupboards! LOL!!). I think the initial could be either the first or last name. I have some stationary that have my first initial, which I prefer. It's more personal. The last initial stationary would seem to me to be for a couple or family. TFS!
