I fussed around all week long with trying to CASE Shelly (papermoon04). Shelly is one of my favorite people on SCS and we have very similar tastes so you would think she would be really easy for me to CASE. WRONG!!! I spent hours drooling all over her gallery. The card I sort of CASEd is CC140 Wonderful & Joyful by papermoon04 at Splitcoaststampers
I used Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink on this card (for stamping and sponging) then used an aquapainter to sort of move the color around on Santa's face and to add a little purely pomegranate ink to highlight his suit. The ink bleeds with water but I wanted the distress ink to blend with the pomegranate for the soft color.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card! Your time was not wasted on the outcome by any means. I truly love the vintage look and the coloring is superb! Love that Santa, I'll to look for that one! GREAT job casing Shelly . . . you did her right!
