Today's limited supply challenge encouraged us to make a card using snowflake stamps, limited layers ( 2-4), one kind of embellishment, one specialty tool, neutral color palette with only a touch of one other color. I reached for my trusted Shapes and Shadows set because it has my favorite snowflake image in it. I chose neutral grays and added a touch of Brilliant Blue. The base card is done with Brilliant Blue CS. It was a bit too bright, so I stamped Going Gray on it, using the Flanned Plaid BG. It gave it an etched texture. My specialty tool is the cuttlebug which I used for the Shimmery White layer, as well as the sentiment (which is cut from a piece of scrap DP that had gray hues in it). My one embellishment is Brilliant Blue Brads.
One of the things I like about the limited supply challenge is that usually the cards are very "mail friendly". This one will be great to send out as a thank you, after the holiday season.
Thanx for looking!
