I was chatting it up with my sweet and talented friend Anna Wight and we decided to do a little mini challenge. We chose a Sketch Challenge from Splitcoast (SC105) for us to make a card with. No rules except to do the SketchÂ…Â…Â… just a little late night playing
I got it in my head that I was going to use purple for this card. I opted for Almost Amethyst because it looks “wintery” to me. Then I spied this pretty patterned paper from Basic Grey in my stash and it was a done deal!
The half circle was cut freehand with Fiskars Cloud scissors. I used a spool of ribbon as my guide for size and trimmed about 1/2″ wider than the spool.
Wonderful card! I love the snowman in his purple outfit! Lilykate paper is one of my favorites and I think you've given me another idea for an alternate holiday color--amethyst! I've really been enjoying using pink!
