Well....I was so excited for Shelly (papermoon04) when i saw that she was honored as the Feature Stamper today. Definitely wanted to participate as she has an awesome gallery. However the day was crazy and it wasn't until tonight that I had a chance....................and that's the GOOD part of my story........this deceptively simple looking card took me hours......I always have a hard time with the FS which is why I sometimes don't do it even though the stampers deserve better.......well...this is the FOURTH version of my case....and this is the way it is staying....the main image alone I did at least 5 times.....somehow my red ep powder sprinkled on the edges as Shelly did turned almost black when heated....finally had to fudge it by making two and cutting the black one with a MS burst punch and gluing it to the top of the red one....doesn't show too badly.......threw out two square versions of the card.....I always have trouble with square cards....can't seem to balance them.......finally gave up and went with this version.........hope I did not 'hurt' Shelly's image with this pale case of her spectacular card which you can see here.....you'll also see that the distressing was left off....that was why another couple versions went to the 'circular file' as the dp was too thin and ripped...........anyhoo....here is her fab original....

I like it! Yours is more vivid than hers and more sophisticated while hers is more shabby chic! Very cool to see two different cards that are so "alike".

Oh my dear sweet friend, I am laughing with you not at your attempts right now! I am so sorry this card gave you fits. Maybe you should have cased something that wasn't in your comfort zone, hmmmmmmm? I even have snowflakes in my gallery ya know. I was looking at your medallion and thinking *how in the world did she make her embossing so perfect?* You shouldn't tell your mishaps and secrets, I was very impressed with you and those peeps of yours. The same goes for the distressing, you could have just said you chose not to do it.......... All kidding aside, I love your version Joanne, thanks for being a good sport!
p.s. wanna send me your garbage so I can try to salvage it?
