This is for the color challenge, but because of the double-sided paper...I hope it's o.k. a little artichoke managed it's way into the card as well.
I love doing snow/winter cards on craft cardstock!
I used my itty bitty backgrounds for the snow. I stamped the snowmen in black and watercolored with aqua painter and white craft for the snowmen. I used markers to color in the rest. I masked the snowmen and markered in the tree from the same set (all but the star) and masked the bottom with cardstock, so I could make different sized trees in the background. I only made one tree have the star on it and colored it in with more mustard marker. Then I sponged more mustard around the star to give it a look of light coming from the star.
Whoaaa...sorry to go on, but hope that helps you get a picture of how I did this fun winter card! (sorry about the shading on the picture, but I hope you like it all the same
