SOOO...here is my explaination of this idea!! LOL!!
So, we all know that everyone is trying to do their part in being eco-friendly these days. I am an AVID Starbucks drinker and you can imagine how many of those coffee cup holders go in the trash. I decided to alter a holder as part of a gift card envelope/card. The band on the card is the reusable, altered coffee cup holder to be used by the person receiving the gift card from "my other home." Now... the card is a bit smaller than the size of the inside of the holder, but that is because the size is smaller at the bottom than at the top. To keep the card from falling out, I placed a swirly clip in the corner to "cinch" down the holder to hold it all together. The inside holds one of the many very cool designs of gift cards Starbucks put out this year. (Reminds me of Gina K's new stamps!) The sentiment inside is on dimensionals and the top flap can be used for a personal note. The fold of that top opens beginning at about 1/2" from the top. (just to be different) The next photo is the inside of this gift card holder.
