I definitely had to make a Christmas card for today's color challenge, I had the hardest time trying to figure out a different way to use them! I got this Frosty set at my first SU party, in January, and this is the first time I have inked them up.
The main panel is matted with ruby red and wild wasabi. I used soft sky for the main panel, I thought it would go a little better with my snowman. I stamped the swirl bg from the Frosty set in whisper white craft ink over the panel. I then stamped the sentiment (did it in two parts as it is usually in one line) in ruby red. I quickly sprinkled iridescent ice ep over the sentiment and heat embossed. I ran a strip of ribbon over the top of the panel to just above the sentiment and used my crop-a-dile to put in some fun snowflake brads.
The main image is a stamped on whisper white cs with black stazon and is matted with wild wasabi. I watercolored the image with the Aqua Painter and colored in some of the smaller details with markers. For the snow along the ground, after watercoloring, I used the Versapen along the edge and then embossed with iridescent ice...I wanted my snow to have a little sparkle! I used black brads for the snowman's buttons. The whisper white panel is up on mini pop dots, as is the soft sky panel. I felt like the card needed a little bit more, so I added silver brads in the corners of the ruby red mat and I used the ticket corner punch on all of the corners.
Thanks for looking and I hope you all have a fabulous day!
